Not too long ago, I introduced you to STYLED HABITAT and an interior project they recently done. This time around, I had the opportunity to photograph a Teen Boys Room styled by Rabah and Natasha from Styled Habitat. Knowing their style, I was eager to be part of the project.
What made this session stand out is the selection of colors, materials and finishes. A raven black wall with pops of orange colour and a contrasting white wall made this photoshoot challenging and exciting. As I understand, it is not the easiest thing in the world to style a teen room. Rabah and Natasha made it look like the simplest thing in the world!
Displaying sneakers on a wall is such a fun way to show off your collection of shoes. The display creates an interesting pattern, almost as if one is climbing the wall. I loved the little Lego collection and wall hook displaying a collection of medals.
As a photographer, it can be challenging to find appropriate contrast between objects within your frame. Styled Habitat made this easy. I could point my camera in any direction to find the perfect balance between dark and light tones, bright and neutral colours, the old and new or something quirky to focus on. Enjoy this fun and cheerful interior. I did!
