The task was to keep it airy, modern, uncluttered but cozy. Accommodating multiple sitting options and highlighting the rooms the best asset- the light streaming in.

It was our first experiment with paneling- and with Anna Bier Design we decided that the best way to hide the awkwardly long wall would be to accent it. Repetitive geometrical pattern ‘dressed it up’ creating some visual texture.

Some of our favorite items were the upgraded TV cabinet – Ikea as bones but luxuriated ( yep, it’s a word 🙂 by Fronteriors and ‘ Papa’s chair’ from Al Huzaifa.

And the cherry on top was this plum legged custom made beauty by The Line Concept. This dining table was the starting element of the whole house concept.”

From the side of Anna Bier Design- “We were nervous at the start, trying to marry luxury with cost-effective materials! A modern approach was always the plan, but the rooms had to be practical, from the brief we knew that the family had 4 children and they do love entertaining guests! Uncluttered but cozy!

Soft furnishing elegant and comfy with some most elegant touches such as the leather Daddy’s chair to maximize seating capacity and a puzzled coffee table that would allow everyone to have their own spot. Upcycled tv cabinet with elegant cane doors finished off the TV area to perfection. The dining area is the “pandora’s box” to the pinch of plum, tailor-made dining table with Carrera marble top and plum legs finished off with a mix of textures.”

Opposite of boring, girls’ bedroom where 2 girls had lots of fun creating it! Would you call it feminine or too masculine or just geometrical chemistry!

The room was designed not only as a girl’s bedroom but also as a guest bedroom as grown girls at the age of flying off the nest into their next chapter.

Upcycled Ikea Kellax shelving into Tv unit with plenty of storage space, and of course plenty of pillows to cozy up space. Wasn’t our usual choice of colors, we felt confident with.”
