We wanted to create something special for the Maggie Wu Silk collection lookbook. So as a result we traveled to Bali to capture the new lookbook in relaxed and chilled mood. And as this is place when it all started, there was no way to do it differently.

“Over a year ago when I was exploring the hidden parts of Bali with my then newly-wed husband. From the pool side of the hidden villa tucked away in a narrow street, I dreamed of a wardrobe of effortless pieces that you can pack, play, and dance around in with ease. My dreaming got to sketching and the desire to create a collection of versatile silk pieces took hold. Created with you in mind and all of your life’s moments, a collection of clean-lined pieces crafted from the finest silk — perfect for your moments big and small.” Maggie Wu.

Collection is created with you in mind, curated the products into special shop-able sets that would be perfect for your most intimate gatherings and extravagant affairs.

Most importantly, I need to mention where we were shooting Maggie Wu Studio Lookbook in Bali- at the beautiful Villa Ajruna. Bali is full of picture friendly places. My favorite ones are Villa Ajruna in Canggu, Alila Ubud in Ubud, and the Ayana Resort in Jimbaran. As you can see, I love Bali.

Work & pleasure are always a good idea, especially if you need to work together with some one like Maggie Wu. Her designs and the concept are brilliant. A couple of pieces and endless possibilities. But if I have to choose a favorite it would have to be the Air Midi Skirt. This piece can go from casual to formal in no time, it’s versatile and so elegant and soft.
