KOKORO DUBAI MALL
Kokoro, the UAE’s first dedicated hand roll bar, has announced ambitious expansion plans with two new locations confirmed and international growth in the pipeline.
The brand will open at Dubai Mall in Q4 2025, followed by a branch on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, scheduled for March 2026.
With existing outposts at Alserkal Avenue and Nad Al Sheba, the brand has served over 200,000 guests and rolled nearly a million hand rolls to date, cementing its position as one of Dubai’s most talked-about dining concepts.
In Dubai Mall, Kokoro will join The District, the newly launched space celebrating leading UAE homegrown brands. The move reflects both strategic growth and a response to guest demand.
“We’ve always built Kokoro with our guests at the centre,” said owner-operator Tamer El Khayat. “We have visitors asking almost daily when Kokoro is coming to their side of town – these new locations are our way of saying, we hear you.”
“A space shaped around focus, warmth and the intimacy of the handroll counter experience.” – designed by T.ZED Architects. T.ZED Architects is a progressive, international architecture and design practice founded by Tarik Zaharna in 2015. Based in the UAE and Luxembourg.
