Aljoud Lootah Design
The Falaj collection originated from the beauty of the traditional aflaj (irrigation channels) developed under the guidance of The late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. These aflaj have been spreading and continue to spread life around them.. and through them, our land flourished over the years.
The history of these aflaj, the stories surrounding them, and the life they nurture, were the inspiration for this collection.
It is a representation of our history, heritage, and stories which we share with the world, through a sleek and minimalist design. A blend of modern aesthetics and cultural heritage, with solid foundations and graceful curves, and resembling, in a way, the serenity found in the shade of palm fronds between the aflaj.
The collection consists of sofas and tables that mirror the colors of UAE’s lush oases and stand as modern tributes. The pieces were designed to reflect the organic curves, separations and reconnections of the Falaj Streams.
Aljoud Lootah designs was a part of Editions and Art Design fair in Middle East Downtown Design in Dubai.
