Belgravian Brasserie
Belgravian was to embody European grandeur that boasts the sophistication of Belgravia while reminiscent of traditional French art-deco brasseries. This restaurant designed by Forsite Creative is set by the seaside giving it an iconic water font views from which they got the brief to take inspiration from the beautiful architecture and style of some of the iconic all-day destination seen in the Côte d’Azur.
Brasseries are typically set in unique old buildings that contribute to their charm architecturally. The newly developed complex presented a true challenge to re-create classic and authentic touch points that would give the same charm and feeling evoked by the great brasseries of Europe. In addition they were challenged to create a space with a stunning day to night transition.
The result was creating a neo-classic and luxurious Brasserie, they started by developing an arrival which consists of an Art-Deco “wintergarden”, where hostess welcomes guests and guides them into the brasserie interior or terraces. The interiors feature very soft but luxurious custom paneling, lighting, and curved glass elements from pastry room to skylights which seamlessly transitions to the French Riviera styled seaside terrace.
